2. Information We Collect

Profile Data You Provide: When you use OriensCV.Com, you voluntarily enter career profile data (name, work history, skills, education) into our form. This data is collected solely for the purpose of generating your AI-powered resume and cover letter during your current session.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Gumroad. When you complete a purchase, you provide payment details directly to Gumroad's secure checkout. OriensCV.Com never receives, sees, stores, or processes your credit card number, CVV, or bank account information.

Technical Data: We may automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This data is used for security, rate limiting, and service improvement purposes only.

Cookies: We use minimal, functional cookies (such as session identifiers) required for the service to operate. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. Google Analytics (if enabled) may set analytics cookies — see Section 7.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Profile data — transmitted to Claude AI (Anthropic) solely to generate your resume and cover letter during your session
• Technical data — to maintain service security, prevent abuse, and monitor system health
• Analytics data — to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the user experience (no personally identifiable information is shared)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or machine learning model training.

4. No Permanent Data Storage

We do not permanently store your resume content, cover letter, or entered profile data on our servers. All session data is held temporarily in short-term server memory (RAM) and is automatically and permanently deleted within 15 minutes of your document being delivered or your session ending — whichever comes first. Generated PDF files are not retained on our servers after delivery.

5. Third-Party Services

To deliver our service, we work with the following trusted third parties:

• Gumroad — payment processing. Gumroad is our payment processor and handles all financial transactions. Your payment data is governed by Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI document generation. Your profile data is transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your resume. Anthropic's use of API data is governed by their Privacy Policy. Anthropic does not use API inputs for model training by default.
• Google Analytics — anonymous aggregate website analytics (if enabled by site operator). Google's use of analytics data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts / Tailwind CDN — font and CSS delivery. These services may log your IP address as part of standard CDN operation.

6. Cookies and Tracking

OriensCV.Com uses only essential functional cookies necessary for the service to operate (for example, a session identifier to link your form data to your payment). We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking scripts. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; however, doing so may prevent the service from functioning correctly.

If Google Analytics is active, it uses cookies to collect anonymous usage statistics. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, server-side rate limiting, input sanitization, and prompt-injection detection.
